Välkomna! Willkommen! Tervetuloa! Bienvenu! Benvenuto! Velkomst! Bienvenido!
Give your child a summer to remember, with our Steiner Waldorf English language school, in Wales, United Kingdom.
Our special programme is designed for students from around the world, who want to improve their English and learn through their head, heart and hands.
Located in the beautiful Welsh countryside, near the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, this two-week course combines English language learning with exciting afternoon activities and hands-on creative projects.

“Immerse. Learn. Live the language.”
This programme helps children build confidence and natural fluency in English within a Steiner-Waldorf environment.
In the mornings, students take part in English language workshops with native English teachers, to develop their language skills. In the afternoons, they enjoy hands-on activities such as art, music, crafts, outdoor adventures, and exploration, and find a variety of opportunities to practice their new language skills.
By living and learning together with students from other countries, children develop cultural awareness and make new friendships that last a lifetime. As the common language is English, it is practiced and applied to real life encounters.
Children can join the programme on their own, with our dedicated team providing full care, or with their parents.
We warmly welcome your child to Nant-y-Cwm Steiner School for a meaningful summer filled with learning, creativity, and adventure – and leave with a deeper grasp of the English language!

Learn by Living the Language

Language Lessons
Every day, children take part in English lessons led by experienced, native English teacher, using Steiner-Waldorf methods. The lessons are adapted to each child’s level and focus on fun, interactive activities that help build both confidence and fluency in English.

Pembrokeshire: A Natural Wonder
Our summer school is set in beautiful Pembrokeshire, home to the Pembrokeshire National Park. Children will have the chance to explore beaches, walk woodland trails, visit nearby islands, and discover the natural beauty of the area. Not only beautiful, Pembrokeshire is one of the safest places in the UK. On all excursions, children take the opportunity to practice their English.

Accommodation
We’re pleased to partner with the Penquoit Centre for our summer school lodging situated on ‘Little Pencoed Organic Eco Farm’. Nestled in the scenic Pembrokeshire countryside, the Penquoit Centre is a Steiner inspired 16th Century Welsh Longhouse. It offers a welcoming and homely setting that complements our approach. Children will stay in same-sex shared dormitory-style accommodation, with staff on hand at all times to ensure their safety and comfort. We encourage all children to communicate in English throughout their stay, ensuring they get plenty of time to practice the language.

Wales: Ancient Land Full Of Culture
Wales is full of ancient sites and cultural heritage. The children will visit standing stones, dolmans, ancient forests and Castell Henllys – an Iron Age fort. These opportunities will allow the children to practice their English in different settings, whilst giving them a deeper understanding of Wales and it’s Celtic past.

Friends For Life
Learn and speak English with other children from different countries, and make beautiful memories and lasting friendships. Everyone is encouraged to speak English at all times, with friends supporting each other in learning!
