Kindergarten Afternoon Co-worker
Location: Nant-y-Cwm Steiner School
Hours: 13:00-15:45 Tuesdays & Wednesdays
Salary: £11 per hour term time
Contract: Permanent - Part Time
An exciting opportunity to join our Kindergarten team where you will support the Kindergarten teachers in their work, helping to maintain a warm and nurturing environment for the children in our thriving Steiner Kindergarten in beautiful West Wales.
Our Early Childhood Team work with an Anthroposophical pedagogy, a child centred approach, with plenty of opportunities for outdoor and real life learning. We pride ourselves on strong community relationships where each member of staff strives to be a role model worthy of imitation.
Start Date: 1st December 2023/1st of January 2024
Hours: 2.45 hrs per day 13:00-15:45 – currently Tuesdays and Wednesdays
1 hr Early Childhood team meeting – 3 times per year
INSET 5 days per year
We would also like applicants to have some additional availability through the week so that they can be called on for sickness cover, as and when needed. This would be paid as overtime.
Pay: £11 per hour term time, (34 weeks a year) plus pro-rata statutory holiday pay
