I live in north Pembrokeshire with my wife Kathryn and youngest son Joshua who has recently moved joined Nant-y-Cwm School. I have a wide & varied work history from small family businesses to multinational companies.

Currently I am researcher on the CHERISH Project, reconstructing the climate and environments of heritage sites along the Irish and Welsh coastlines during the last 10,000 years. I spend most of my working hours looking down a microscope identifying plant pollen and algae or seeking things too small to see with the naked eye.

I love cooking, anything connected with the environment – particularly if involves messing around in boats, and have a love-hate relationship with DIY and motor mechanics.
