Class Teacher, French Teacher and Safeguarding Deputy

I was born and raised Co. Kildare in the Republic of Ireland and completed third level education in University College Cork, with a B.A. (Hons.) in French and Spanish.
Then followed 5 years teaching English to both children and adults in Language Academies in several different countries in Europe.
After some invaluable backpacking journeys, I moved to the U.K. I completed a Diploma in Equine Behavioural Management with Dr Marthe Kiley-Worthington in Devon, and worked in that field for a couple of years.
After 8 years as a Buddhist monastic in Burma/Myanmar where I was also teaching English much of the time, I moved to Pembrokeshire.
I worked as a carer, support worker and teaching assistant in Pembrokeshire, before joining the team in Nant-Y-Cwm, in September
2016.
I have worked mostly as a teaching assistant, also as the afternoon care teacher, and taught class 4 & 5 for almost 2 terms in 2018. I was also a cover teacher for class 3 & 4 for 2 months in 2019. In 2019, I completed the WESTT Steiner Waldorf teacher training course, and have been teaching class 1 in the school year 2019 /2020.
In my spare time, I love sea kayaking, swimming, walking in beautiful nature, singing and music, cooking, reading and meditation.
