Nant-y-Cwm Steiner School is set in a beautiful woodland valley beside the flowing Eastern Cleddau River. With its woodland setting and good access from the surrounding area, it is the perfect place for holding functions and events. There is adequate car parking nearby and facilities on-site. We are pleased to offer for hire certain areas of the school grounds: the School Hall, the playground and the playing field.
These spaces are available for private hire in the evening, on weekends, and in our school holidays (please click the link to see our term dates or enquire as our holidays may not mirror mainstream holidays). Our facilities are available for hosting many events, such as: creative classes, training events, fitness related classes, meetings, workshops and courses, children’s birthday parties, holiday clubs, weddings and other private or community events.
The School Hall
The School Hall is bathed in beautiful soft, natural light, with wooden flooring, varied lighting options, and a stage (available for an additional fee, please enquire).
The Playground
The Playground is an L-shaped tarmac space to the front of the Victorian School building, with views of the surrounding trees.
The Playing Field
The Playing Field is a large green space adjacent to the playground, enclosed by trees with a pathway leading into the nearby woodland.
Please note – the School has a no-alcohol policy at events. Due to the proximity of neighbours the hall is not suitable for events with amplified music.
Prices & Booking
The School Hall, Playground, and Playing Field are available between 3pm and 7pm Monday-Friday, and on weekends and in School holidays between 8.00am and 8.00pm.
Prices are £20 per hour, with an additional £20 deposit, returnable after the event has taken place. For a half day (4 hours) we offer a rate of £70. For a full day (8 hours) we offer a rate of £135. To book for an extended full day (8.00am-8.00pm) we offer a rate of £200.
