Class 3 and 4 completed the brickwork for their Building Project before Christmas. Once the brick pillars had been constructed, the new garden bench was just awaiting its wooden plank.
Veronika Valkova and Sion Doveyand, Kindergarten parents, donated the wood which rests on the brick pillars – a beautiful piece of larch that they milled themselves.
During the month of March I fixed the wood onto the pillars and joined the planks – it was 2 planks which mirrored each others pattern in the wood.
I think you’ll agree a truly collaborative effort, that’s not only useful but gorgeous too.
