More progress made on our latest workday at Nant Y Cwm. With a great turnout, we’ve almost completed the fencing but have yet to hang gates. Veronica and Sion are very kindly making us some to hang. Progress is being made inside the classroom with stud wall going up and new doorway going in. A great amount of general “moving things around” was also achieved. Once again, a massive thank you to all who came along and gave their time
Our next work day is Tuesday 24th August. And there is one more day planned for 31st August. We really hope you can join us for the final push!
Plans for the next session include:
- Finishing the fencing
- Defining a path and laying down slabs
- Raking and spreading some grass seed
- Painting a base coat inside the classroom
Please bring suitable clothing for working outside and inside. eg. gloves and boots, old clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on.
We will start at 9.30am and finish around 1.30pm. Please bring food, drink and snacks to keep you going.
Everyone is welcome, even if you can only stay for a short time.
Children are also welcome to come and play outside in the playground and field, under supervision, but there will be no access to the main building or other classrooms.
