Although there is no longer a legal requirement to produce a COVID-specific risk assessment, the School’s Health and Safety Team recognises that the School needs to continue applying some mitigation measures at a time when local COVID-19 case-rates are still quite high.  As a result, they have updated (1st May 2022) the COVID-19 Risk Assessment.

The School has always tried to minimise the impact of necessary and reasonable measures on the children at Nant-y-Cwm, and this document reflects the reduced, but still reasonable, precautions deemed necessary.  It is hoped that even these reduced measures can be relaxed very soon.

All members of the School Association have a role to play in minimising the chance of anyone contracting, or disseminating, the COVID-19 virus.
