There has been some magical work going on at home. We are very proud of all the children. Here are just a very few examples…
Kindergarten
In January the children heard stories about King Winter and made frost sprites and King Winter’s wand as well as bird feeders. They celebrated St Dwynwen’s Day on the 25th January with heart mobiles and jam tart making. The children also made and posted cards to their KG friends. Kindergarten celebrated Candlemas with candle making and decorating.
Class 1 & 2
Class 1 & 2 have been looking at riddles, tongue twisters, and have also been continuing to work on their letters, form drawings, and Lucy has been giving the children lots of lovely songs to listen to and learn to sing.
Class 3 & 4
Class 3 & 4 have been improving on their numeracy skills learning about fractions with their class teacher Mudita, and recently they’ve been exploring the topic ‘Human and Animal’.
Class 5 & 6
Class 5 & 6 have been delving into all sorts of exciting topics including physics, and more recently, the Ancient Romans. The children have been undertaking physics experiments, learning about multiplication and division and have been doing lots of beautiful artwork.
Class 7 & 8
Class 7 & 8 are learning all about how the body functions, from the respiratory system to the reproductive system to the cardiovascular system. They have also been enjoying drama games and activities, as well as in-depth online music lessons with Suzi where she explains the dynamics of songwriting and the role different elements of songs play in the overall experience for the listener.
